ความหมายของเครื่องหมายมหาวิทยาลัย
วงกลมภายนอก
วงกลม หมายถึง องค์ความรู้ที่ไม่มีที่สิ้นสุด เป็นเสมือนเส้นวงกลมที่ไม่มีจุดสุดสิ้น เฉกเช่นการพัฒนาคนให้เป็นคนที่สมบูรณ์จะต้องพัฒนาไปอย่างต่อเนื่องตลอดชีวิต

พื้นที่วงกลมภายนอก ส่วนบนเป็นชื่อของมหาวิทยาลัยฟาร์อีสเทอร์น (The Far Eastern University) ส่วนล่างเป็นปีที่ก่อตั้งมหาวิทยาลัย คือ ค.ศ.2000 (พ.ศ.2543)

วงกลมภายใน
เป็นรูปคานรับน้ าหนัก มีลูกตุ้มอยู่ตรงกลางบนคานและมีแกนหลักสามประการที่ก่อให้เกิดดุลยภาพของการพัฒนาคนให้เป็นคนสมบูรณ์ดังนี้
เลิศคุณธรรม (Ethics) นักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยฟาร์อีสเทอร์น ต้องเป็นผู้ที่มีคุณธรรมในทุกด้านและเป็นพลเมืองยุคใหม่ที่มีคุณภาพ
ล้ำปัญญา (Wisdom) ต้องเป็นผู้ใฝ่รู้ใฝ่ศึกษาเพื่อให้ได้มาซึ่งสติปัญญาที่ล้ าเลิศ อันจะน าความรู้ไปใช้ให้เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุดต่อตนเองและสังคม
คนสมบูรณ์ (Wholeness) ต้องเป็นผู้ที่มีความเพียบพร้อมสมบูรณ์ ทั้งร่างกายและจิตใจ มีความรอบรู้และรอบคอบทั้งการคิดและการปฏิบัติ

สีประจ้ามหาวิทยาลัย
สีกรมท่า หมายถึง ความสุขุมลุ่มลึกทางปัญญา
สีเหลือง หมายถึง ความมีคุณธรรม จริยธรรม และความเจริญรุ่งเรือง

Outer circle: The outer circle represents the unfathomed knowledge and development that our students will obtain throughout their whole lives as there is neither a beginning nor end to the circle.

Inner circle: The inner circle is comprised of an ancient, three bar scale that symbolizes the harmony of the whole person's development. The bars include:
Ethics: each student must possess an ethical mind in all areas Wisdom: each student must be a life-long scholar who always searches for knowledge that can be used to enhance his or her life as well as both the local global community
Wholeness: each student must examine his or her actions in order to prepare themselves to be a complete person who thinks and performs tasks thoroughly and fairly

Navy - blue represents an intellectual mind
Yellow - represents ethics and prosperity

Location
The Far Eastern University sits on approximately 10 Rai of land at 120 Mahidol Road in Muang District, Chiang Mai. The university holds 2 modern five-floor buildings, a convention hall of more than 700 seats, an audio-visual room, a computer lab, a multi-purpose sports complex, a language lab, a cafeteria, parking space, and the Wattanarachanakarin 80 Building.
Also, in order to facilitate the growth of students, we have extended the campus with another modern five-floor building constructed on 104 rai in Handong District and is equipped with many of the same amenities as our other campus as well as a stadium and dormitories.
