Training Program for Foreign Teachers in Obtaining Teaching Professional License

The Far Eastern University are now calling for applications for the "Training Program for Foreign Teachers in Obtaining Teaching Professional License" based on the professional standard requirements set by the Teacher's Council of Thailand. Details for applications are listed below.

Training Duration

Foreigners who are eligible to apply for the training must meet the following requirements:

  1. Aged 20 years and over
  2. Possess a Teaching Permit to Foreign Teachers without the License from Teacher's Council of Thailand
  3. Obtained a university degree in education or any related fields accredited by Teacher's Council of Thailand, or
  4. Obtained a university degree with a teaching certificate from oversea institutes, or a graduate diploma in education (a 1-year program or longer), or
  5. Obtained a university degree and passed a Teacher's Preparation Examination from an educational institute accredited by the Teacher's Council of Thailand, or gained at least 24 credits of teaching subjects from government higher educational institute or professional organizations approved by laws of their home country.
  6. Possess a valid passport or a document proving his/her legal immigration. The period of stay stated in the document must be left for at least 6 months from the day of application.
  7. Possess a valid work permit which must not be expired before the last day of the training.
  • - Two recent 1-inch photographs, wearing formal clothing and do not wear hat and sunglasses, taken no more than six months.
  • - 2 copies of every pages of the passport
  • - 2 copies of educational background or certificates-holding at least a bachelor’s degree in a field of education/teaching or its equivalent
  • - 2 copies of a Teaching Permit to Foreign Teachers without the License
  • - 2 copies of all pages of work permit or residential status
  • - 2 copies of teaching license/certificate from abroad (if any)

Registration Fee

  • 4,000 THB.
    • - Including: training documents, lunches, coffee break and snacks, T-shirt
    • - Excluding: 500 THB certificate processing fee

    Evaluation Criteria

    Participants are required to obtain and pass at least 60% from tests in order to complete the training course.

       3.2) the qualified applicant successfully pay the registration fee to the stated bank account below:


Please note that the registration fee is not refundable after your application has been acknowledged. In case the number of applicants is less than 20, the seminar will be postponed and held with the next batch.
