After six years of standard-based education, Thailand has once again withnessed a shift in the restructuring of the curriculum frameworks, from using intervals 1 - 4 to using the first 9 grade levels preceding interval 4 in high school. With clear benchmarks for each grade level, this approch communicates a clear hierarchy of knowledge and skills necessarily and harmoniously designated for grade levels below high school. Meanwhile, the remaining interval 4 allows high school to describe desired educational accomplishments in terms of subject contents' depth and variety
