The Basic Education Curriculum 2001 is a core curriculum which aims to preserve Thai ways of life and improve Thai population to be fully developed, wise, and happy. This curriculum also encorages students to be able to continue studying in the higher educational level and earn their living efficiently within learning standards. Learning standards compose of knowledge, skill, capability, and characteristic that students should meet when they accomplish their basic education. Learning standard is the objective of developing curriculums, instruction and assessment. When learning standards are conformed to our world nowadays, it's a great opportunity for schools to improve their curriculums to be more modern by adjusting original curriculums in each subject area and comparing with developed curriculums. In conclusion, developing school curriculums is not as difficult as everyone thinks
