A change in curriculum standard will inevitably have a great impact on the action of teachers i.e assessment and evaluation planning. To overcome this impact, teachers have to make an analysis and examine the alignment between an existing assessment and evaluation system and a new learning standard. For example, if the alignment between learning assessment of a picec of work and a new learning standard are found, teachers do not have to modify their learning assessment and evaluation system. On the other hand if the alignment are not fully or partly found, modification of assessment and evaluation system are needed to meet the new learning standard. Again, the tool that can help teachers examine the alignment between learning assessment and learning standard is curriculum mapping
