This article is aimed to analyze the Basic Education Curriculum B.E. 2544 (A.D.2001) which is known as the National Core Curriculum that is composed of the curriculum standard and the performance standard which will be use to appoint the students' qualification. Schools are also assigned to use strand and the standard to design the school curriculum concerning the community problems, the local wisdom know how are the desired characteristics in order to make the students to be good citizens for their family, society and the country. This National Core Curriculum has been assigned to all schools to use and to modify it for the school curriculum since 2003. The weiter would like to present two issues that are to analyze the current problems in applying the Basic Education Curriculum and to present the way to solve the school curriculum in the writer's view with examples to assist the school and educators to gain knowledge and understanding in making the most use
