Old-format lesson plans contain many weak points. They are complicated and impractical. The lesson plan for grade 11 students in Science No.8 is an esample of the old-format one which demonstrates its demerits obviously. It contains too many pages with unrelated contents between the topic and the objectives. Moreover, the topic and the objectives. Moreover, the activities and the evaluation methods are also inappropriate too. Consequently, I would like to propose a modern approch to create a better lesson plan by using the constructivism way. Constructivism emphasizes on student's competency, thus I apply this way to invent the "Mapping lesson plan"
Designing of learning units depends on the objectives and learning activities. Constructivism should be used to design units of learning. This technique is to develop students' cognitive abilities. The process of learning is to:
Engage --> Explore --> Explain --> Elaborate --> and Evaluate
The design of learning units can be simplified if teacher employ one page mind map.
