คำอธิบาย / บทคัดย่อ The purpose of the this research was to improve learning and teaching strategies for the course of Principles of Business Education (056313), Faculty of Education Chiang Mai University. The study group was 15 business education majors and minors who took this course in the first e=semester, 2002 academic year. Six lessons were conducted using Kittiporn Punyapinyophol’s model of classroom action research. Composed of 3 main phases: planning, conducting and collecting data, and revising and evaluating foe improving the plan. All three phases were operated continuously and associatively. Instruments used in this research were instructional plan and media, basic knowledge test, observation form, student’s progress recording form, student’s potency surveying form, and student’s opinion questionnaire. Data were collected by the researcher and analyzed through uses of frequency, percentage, and mean. The content was analyzed as well. The results were as follows; For the knowledge and understanding the content including performance skill, it was found that the majority of students gained knowledge and understanding the content at very good level whereas student’s skill was performed at good level. The students expressed their attitude toward the learning and teaching processes and the instructor at good level. From the observation form, it was found that students changed their behavior and were better developed their enthusiasm, their concentration and responsibility in learning. In addition, the results of this research influenced the researcher reflect the idea for improving and adapting the teaching behavior, including plans and methods of teaching. The results also affected the course of Principles of Business Education to be better improved in future.
