คำอธิบาย / บทคัดย่อ The purpose of this study was to investigate the students’ English listening skill by using authentic materials and tasks after watching native speakers’ video programs and their listening strategies. The target group comprised 5 English major students who took course in Teaching Listening Comprehension for Secondary School Level in the second semester of the 2001 academic year at Chiang Mai University. Ethnographic research was conducted. The research instruments consisted of native speakers’ video programs, lessons, listening strategy questionnaires and reflection. Dates were analyzed by means, percentage and content analysis. Results indicated that: (1) Students’ listening skill by using authentic materials and tasks after watching motive speakers’ video programs was at high level. (2) Students indicated all three types of listening strategies to per form tasks at moderate level.
