This study was a quantitative research. The objective was to study the opinions of instructors who taught work and industrial oriented in accordance with B.E.2521 (Revised B.E.2553) Lower Secondary Curriculum, in 18 secondary schools attached to the office of General Education.
A questionnaire was used, asking the instructors about states and problems of learning and teaching, implementation of curriculum, methods of teaching, teaching aids, academic sources, materials and supplies, equipment and tools used for student practice, classrooms, school shops and buildings, personnel, and budget proposals,
The results of this study were: a) about a curriculum implementation, instructor had knowledge in subject content but did not understand the detail of curriculum, and few curriculum documents were distributed, b) most instructors stated that teaching aids were not a problem because they could construct teaching aids by themselves, c) about a third-fifth (64.9%) pointed that materials and supplies used for student practice were inadequate: equipment and tools were in bad condition, low quality, and inappropriate for students’ practicing, d) about a half (50.8%) stated that the classrooms were overcrowded, and the number of classrooms and personals were few, e) lack of academic sources, and f) more than a half (57.9%) faced with the lacking of buildings and shops, expressed that there were problems about budget making.
