คำอธิบาย / บทคัดย่อ The purpose of this study was to evaluate the Master’s Degree program in education (Elementary Education) Chiang Mai University in aspects of appropriateness or input, the curriculum management or process, and the output. The samples were 25 master degree graduates, 10 superiors of master degree graduates, and 8 graduate students who were in the 2nd year and graduate student who were doing the research. The CIPP model was used for collecting data. The questionnaires and focus group discussion were employed to collect the date. The obtained data were statistically analyzed by using frequencies, percentages, arithmetic means, standard deviation, and content analysis. The findings were as follows: Context: the objectives of the curriculum were clear and relevant to the social needs and very practical. The curriculum structure and content were appropriate. The curriculum appropriateness or Input: The teaching staffs’ credentials, academic titles were ranked at C and B respectively. The real work load of the teaching staff was higher than the university criteria. The pre-graduate students’ qualifications were relevant to the exiting criteria. The resources were sufficient and qualified. The curriculum management or Process: The study programs were appropriate. The roles of academic advisors and the research advisors were accordance with the expectation of the post graduates and the graduate students. The instructional activities were judged appropriately and satisfactory. Product: The times used for graduation were 2-3 year which was good when compared with the university criteria. The graduates’ abilities on general work and elementary education field were in a good level.
