คำอธิบาย / บทคัดย่อ Speaking English is one of the major problems for Thai students. It is likely that the skill of speaking the students’ possess is not in accordance with the nature of speaking process. This research employed Brain-based Learning Instruction in teaching English for Prathom Suksa Six Students in order to investigate its effect on their English speaking ability and their satisfaction in learning English. The samples were 20 Prathom Suksa Six Students, studying English in the first semester of 2010 academic year at Pornpittayakom school, Sikhiu District under Nakhon Ratchasima Primary Educational Service Area Office 4. The students were taught by using 6 lesson plans utilizing Brain-based Learning Instruction. Pretest was conducted before the teaching and after teaching had been completed, a posttest on speaking and questionnaire of the satisfaction were administered. Data were analyzed for means (x ?), standard deviation (S.D.), percentage, and t-test. Results indicated that the students’ English speaking ability average score utilizing Brain-based Learning Instruction had improved 33.50% and their satisfaction was at high level (x ? = 3.89,S.D.=0.94)
